Scarborough Bluffs Slo-Pitch Association - A Proud member of NSA Canada. Built by Players for Players. Adult Slo-Pitch on Adult Fields. Located in Scarborough, Ontario Canada.
Welcome to the 2009 season Scarborough Bluffs Slo-Pitch Assoc. started as a league to promote safe, friendly, and organized slo-pitch softball in the southeast Scarborough area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We started the league in 1987, with 6 teams. The League now has 37 teams ,10 Co-ed and 27 Mens in various divisions of play. Our diamonds are Adult sport complexes in the old City of Scarborough.
Co-ed plays Monday Nights 7 pm to 11pm at East Point Park now known as Ken Morrish Park. Men play at the same park but Sunday nights 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. We don't schedule games for any long weekends.
We are a proud member of NSA Canada. It has been a breath of fresh air to join this association and its members. We use NSA carded adult umpires for all of our games.
We run 2 NSA Provincial Qualifying Tournaments a year. The Money raised goes to updating our computers and add-ons. Some of the profits from the tournaments are donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. The last ten seasons we have raised $14,675.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
At the end of each season we have an Awards Banquet and Dance for the Co-ed Teams. In 2009 the Dance was held at the Stone Cottage Inn on Kingston road. We had a live band, and a great buffet dinner. It was a good night of dancing for everyone.
